Weeknote 2

Here’s some quick thoughts on my week:

I made more progress with the main project at work. Right at the end of the week some significant decisions were made, which should unlock even more for next week but I’m happy that things are starting to slot into place.

I also joined a kick-off for a new internal project, which I’m quite interested in. I’ve been thinking a lot about how we work and my approach to projects recently so this work might help with that thinking.

At home, we’ve made a bit of a plan for the Easter holidays. I’m usually keen to get the time off work arranged to make planning easier but we’ve been in a bit of a dilemma about what we can afford. We now seem to have settled on some dates at least so I need to get them booked next week.

Meanwhile, there seems to be a lot of life admin around at the moment. Boring tasks like renewing insurance and tax that just need to be done. I know it’s part of life, but it always seems to come at the same time.

Big plans for this weekend as it’s my wife’s birthday so we’re going out for the day and then having lunch with family on Sunday. I’m hoping I might be able to catch some of the rugby at some point too.
