Hi, I’m Phil and I’m a communications professional from Berkshire, UK.
I have experience of helping public, private and third sector organisations to communicate with internal and external audiences.
I graduated from the University of the Creative Arts with a BA (Hons) in Journalism in 2005. Shortly after graduating, I joined the fantastic news team at Wessex FM in Dorchester, broadcasting to a beautiful and fascinating part of the UK.
Having worked for a number of radio stations around the south, I eventually decided to cross the floor, and joined West Berkshire Council‘s communications team in 2008. Following this, I spent some time working at the very heart of the UK internet, at the .uk registry Nominet, before joining Thames Water in 2015.
I enjoy working with people from different business areas with a variety of experience, including senior leaders, programme and project teams, subject matter experts, and spokespeople to identify their communications needs and help them to identify the best approach to meet the business objectives.
I am a proud father to a young daughter and twin sons, including a fantastic heart warrior who amazes us everyday with his strength and energy in the face of a serious congenital heart condition. For this reason, and because of all of the wonderful help they’ve offered us, I support Naomi House and Jacksplace, Ronald McDonald House Charity, Families of Ocean Ward and Friends of PICU.
